Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Pelican Products Inc. As an essential member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality products meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of repetitive operations to assemble and/or finish various types and sizes of plastic items and containers under direct supervision.

  • Work from verbal and/or written instruction, occasionally working from blueprint and/or assembly drawing.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and powered assembly tools such as semi-automatic assembly fixtures, band saw, table saw, riveting machine, pneumatic tools, drill press, and foam saws.
  • Perform changeover of assembly fixtures, replenish/replace stock at assembly station.
  • Attach necessary hardware and parts as per specifications and perform gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations.
  • Check parts for visual defects and operate various machines to perform finishing operations on various plastic and/or metal parts.
  • Maintain established quality and quantity standards, following prescribed safety precautions, company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Understanding and ability to follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to operate machine controls and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
Benefits and Salary

This is a hourly position with a salary range of $19.00-$21.00. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
