Job Summary:
Detroit Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our preoperative team in Hamtramck, Michigan. As a valued member of our healthcare staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgery.

About the Role:
This full-time position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and preparation for surgical procedures. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the preoperative process
- Participate in shared decision-making activities and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualifications:
We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) who holds a current license in the state of Michigan and has a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification is also required.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
