Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be responsible for preparing and evaluating financial results to analyze the financial impact of manufacturing operating results. This role will also provide strategic and tactical recommendations to leaders and support financial planning and responsibilities for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Assist in development of standardized reporting for the business each month and prepare monthly business updates.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Prepare monthly reporting on actuals against budget and forecast, and identifying variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Working Capital Management: Analyze and forecast working capital, inventory, and inventory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, procurement, and plant operations to identify and drive business efficiencies.
  • Sales Support: Assist Sales in development of revenue budgets and projection and performance reporting.
  • Cost Function Budgeting: Perform cost function budgeting and forecasting analysis on ad hoc projects.
  • Other Duties: Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner, maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices, and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Administration required.
  • Experience: 7+ years of Accounting and/or Finance experience within a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of accounting/manufacturing cost accounting required, familiarity with ERP systems including Microsoft D365 preferred, advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and aptitude for implementing new technology solutions.
