Job DescriptionThe Emergency Department Nurse Specialist will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized care plans;
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery;
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and families.
This dynamic nurse will possess excellent critical thinking skills, empathy, and a strong ability to adapt to changing situations. They will also demonstrate a passion for ongoing learning and professional development.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited RN program;
- Current, unencumbered Vermont nursing license;
- Minimum 1 year of ER experience;
- Current BLS certification and ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
