About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Wellness Program Coordinator to join our team at Holyoke YMCA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing wellness programs that cater to individual member needs, maintaining accurate records, and building effective relationships with members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement wellness programs that meet the diverse needs of our members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions and program participation
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEMBERS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND SUPPORT
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in wellness and fitness
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of fitness and wellness principles
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (within 3 months)
  • YMCA Leader Certification (within 6 months)
