We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Randolph Hospital Inc. This is a Full Time position.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to acutely ill patients, and maintain a safe and clean environment.

**Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment on the nursing unit.
  • Perform general nurse assistant duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
  • Enter data, orders, and patient information to generate requisitions.
  • Coordinate unit activities with the charge nurse.

**Requirements:**

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Candidate must be listed on the Nurse Aide registry in North Carolina.
  • Must successfully complete a class in Information Technology for unit secretaries within eight to twelve weeks.
  • BCLS certification is required.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English is essential.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • Prior hospital/healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Computer training is preferred.
  • Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

**Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
