The Department of Biology at West Virginia University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join its team.
As part of a recently awarded project, the Departments of Biology and Neuroscience are seeking a productive researcher for several exciting research projects, with a focus on neural circuit plasticity during development and in response to rearing conditions, sensory discrimination training, or stress.
The researcher will study mouse or zebrafish models using state-of-the-art technology, including in-vivo electrophysiology, super-resolution microscopy, and spatial transcriptomics.
Qualifications
- PhD required.
- Experience in high-quality neurocircuit-related published articles and cutting-edge structural, functional, or molecular research methods in neuroscience.
- Excellent scientific writing and oral communication skills.
