We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at HCA MidAmerica Health. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of medical imaging procedures, including interventional radiology, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Operate complex medical equipment, including imaging machines and contrast injectors, to obtain high-quality images and diagnostic information.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical imaging procedures, protocols, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Two-year program or four-year BA program in Radiology Technology followed by training in interventional procedures either on the job or from an accredited program setting.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible with completion of examination within 9 months of hire and/or certification as an interventional technologist.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.
- Minimum of one-year hospital department experience in arterial and venous interventional radiology.
