Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at the State of California. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy, family services, and preparing evaluations and reports for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy to patients with various mental health conditions.
  • Assess and address the social and emotional needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Prepare evaluations and reports for patients, including discharge planning and follow-up services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Science as an ACSW or LCSW.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a secure treatment area at a forensic psychiatric hospital. The hospital provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients and does not accept voluntary admissions.
