Job Title: Virtual School Psychologist

We are seeking experienced school psychologists to join our team as Virtual School Psychologists. This role involves providing remote support to students' mental health and educational needs at an Ohio school district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of improvement.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions via secure online platforms to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to students in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and deliver professional development workshops for educators and staff on mental health topics to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions, utilizing relevant data to inform future support strategies.
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and virtual counseling, applying this knowledge to provide high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • A valid School Psychologist license in Ohio.
  • Experience in a school setting, with a strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, and school-based mental health services.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
