Human Resources Manager

The University of Colorado Department of Family Medicine is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and actively contribute to our Human Resources team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and directly contribute to essential HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, promotions, terminations, leave management, and payroll. You will play a key role in driving our performance management and evaluation processes to new heights.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, and train new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manage employee benefits, compensation, and performance management processes to ensure compliance with University policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
The University of Colorado offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $86,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
