Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As a vital member of our healthcare family, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in line with established nursing models and standards of practice. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized care, following a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
