I&E Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled I&E Maintenance Technician to join our team at Manus Bio in Augusta, GA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements.
- Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
- Mentor fellow employees when the opportunity presents itself.
- Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed.
- Stay up to date on Operations Qualifications and required training.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 10 lbs. on a regular basis is required.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Working knowledge of National Electric Codes.
- Proficient with electronic test instruments.
- Knowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals.
- Knowledge and experience preparing drawings of electrical circuits.
- Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
- Knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel & Word.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, vendors, contractors, and other business contacts.
- Must comply with Manus Bio's core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships among and with employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in cGMP environments.
- Experience in biochemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, energy, oil, and gas industries is preferred.
