Medical Assistant

The Helen Farabee Center is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Wise County BHC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in the examination and treatment of individuals served in our Mental Health Centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during doctor's clinic, providing professional treatment and rehabilitation.
- Measure vital signs, take medical history, and document information in medical records.
- Provide laboratory monitoring and medication education classes for consumers.
- Perform routine diagnostic and laboratory tests, including drawing and collecting blood samples.
Requirements:
- Graduation from standard high school or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certificate from RMA, CMA, or CCMA.
- Prior professional experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
- Current driver's license and insurability under Center insurance.
