We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at Mercer Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for organizing, scanning, and maintaining digital records for the company.

This is a temporary part-time role with a flexible schedule within our office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have three years of clerical experience, including multi-phone system, customer service, and/or similar business acumen.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and organizing physical documents from various departments
  • Removing staples, paper clips, and other obstructions to prepare documents for scanning
  • Verifying that documents are in proper order and free of damage before scanning
  • Operating scanning equipment to digitize physical documents accurately
  • Ensuring scanned files are saved in the appropriate locations with correct naming conventions

In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively and provide others with a clear understanding of information.

We offer competitive pay, with an estimated annual salary of $31,200 based on 20 hours of work per week. Additionally, you and your family can utilize our free healthcare clinic at no cost to you. Please note that this role may require a drug screen and criminal background check.
