About the Role
Northeast Kingdom Human Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive community mental health programs in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom. As a Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting a high-quality, supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and provide tailored support to foster a positive and encouraging environment.
- Respectfully support individuals and their support teams in achieving goals and objectives outlined in Individual Support Agreements (ISA).
- Collaborate with clients to obtain and retain employment in employment settings.
- Facilitate valued social roles and relationships within family, community, and other networks.
Daily Living Activities
You will assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with behavioral challenges and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- A valid driver's license and suitable vehicle insurance.
