About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Healthcare Professional to join our team at Urgent Care for Kids. As a Utility Player, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of responsibilities, including front desk and reception duties, back-office care, triage, radiology, curbside labs, and other critical tasks that ensure our clinics run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage patients upon arrival and communicate with the provider when the patient is ready.
  • Document and summarize visits in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Assist the provider with procedures and patient care, including splinting, radiology, vaccines, medication administration, phlebotomy, and more.
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms.
  • Provide patient education at the end of the visit and address any follow-up questions.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with children.
  • Experience in a Pediatric Office, Pediatric Hospital, or Urgent Care within the past 3 years, with a minimum duration of 6 months.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a Texas license.
  • BLS certification required.

Saturday / Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
