Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Operate and maintain stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
  • Quality Control: Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
  • Repair and Refit: May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
  • Record Keeping: Keep daily assembly production records.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience: 0-3 years relevant experience
  • Skills: General knowledge of assembly, calibration, component installation, soldering, troubleshooting, and functional testing. Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
Benefits
  • Pay Range: $33,495.00 - $62,205.00 annually
  • PTO, Holiday, and Family Leave: Employees will receive 11 paid holidays and 120 hours of PTO annually and up to 3 weeks paid family leave.
