Vocational Nurse

We are seeking dedicated and qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team in providing exceptional care to students with special needs. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic educational setting.
Job SummaryThe LVN will work closely with our healthcare team to provide medical assistance, administer medications, and develop individualized care plans for our students. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to students with special needs, including administering medications, performing wound care, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective communication with students, parents, and school staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student care, including medication administration, treatments, and progress notes.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Current LVN or RN License
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience working in a hospital setting and with severely disabled children
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be at least 18 years old
Our district offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
