We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Financial Specialist to join our team at New York Life Greater Atlanta.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven professional to grow a list of prospective clients, market insurance products, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We provide a supportive network and resources to help you succeed in your career.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing a prospective customer base and advertising our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business
  • Processing current policyholders' insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
  • Identifying new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience

Requirements include:

  • Ability to understand the needs and financial concerns of clients
  • Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events or circumstances they may encounter
  • Promoting customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Customer service or experience as a sales representative
  • Current Life & Health insurance license
