AV Generalist Job Description

Marist College is seeking a highly skilled AV Generalist to join our team in the Media Center. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional audio visual support for the College, including classroom technology, events, and audio video production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio visual equipment in classrooms and production facilities
  • Provide technical support for events and productions
  • Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and implement best practices for audio visual support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and trends in audio visual support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience or 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of audio visual equipment
