We are seeking a talented Business Analyst Intern to join our Solutions division at KMH LLP. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, excellent teamwork skills, and a desire to learn and grow as a professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the completion of client service work by performing assigned tasks in technical areas.
  • Contribute to engagement planning and ensure that products/deliverables meet contract/work plan.
  • Review, document, evaluate, and test controls in various environments.
  • Apply understanding of and proficiency in Solutions methodologies.
  • Delve services that meet client expectations and KMH firm standards.

Qualifications:

  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively in team environment and foster client relationships.
  • Above-average written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Solid problem-solving, analytical, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills, as well as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understanding of current accounting (GAAP) and auditing (GAAS) principles.
  • Understanding of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT).
  • Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. Located in a dynamic and challenging consulting environment. Class Level: Junior, Senior, Master's Student.
