We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at Walser Collision & Glass. As an Automotive Glass Technician, you will be responsible for performing mobile and on-site removal and installation of auto glass, as well as other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize hand and power tools to remove and re-install moldings, wipers, mirrors, windshields, and all other automotive glass according to specifications.
- Work closely with the office to complete paperwork, communicate scheduling and repair updates.
- Participate in technical training and stay current on industry advancements.
- Work closely with customers on repairs, paperwork, and payments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform repairs/replacements on mobile service site (both indoors and outdoors) without direct supervision.
- Must have high-end vehicle knowledge for replacements on BMW's, Mercedes, and Lexus, etc. due to their complex nature.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, stretch, lift (50-75 lbs.) and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Maintain professional appearance.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
