Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in our medical office team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to patients, including assessing vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Conduct routine physical examinations, including vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Assist with phlebotomy procedures, including drawing blood and collecting blood samples.

• Perform injections, including administering vaccines and medications, under the supervision of a physician.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to manage acute pain, providing patients with effective pain management strategies.

• Offer health coaching to patients, helping them make informed lifestyle choices and develop healthy habits.

• Work closely with patients to address behavioral health concerns, including providing guidance on nutrition, exercise, and stress management.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

• Adhere to infection control and safety standards, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Skills:

• Experience administering injections, including vaccines and medications.

• Strong understanding of acute pain management and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.

• Familiarity with health coaching and the ability to provide patients with personalized guidance.

• Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to provide patients with evidence-based dietary advice.

• Proficiency with phlebotomy procedures, including drawing blood and collecting blood samples.

• Experience working in a medical office environment and the ability to maintain accurate patient records.

• Skill in performing routine physical examinations, including vital signs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

• Ability to adhere to infection control and safety standards, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
