Job Overview

Distinctive Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide support and conduct student assessments in all areas of communication development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with network supervisors, teachers, families, and students to provide diagnostic and intervention services for students with speech, language, and hearing disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are strength-based and child-centered for overall educational improvement.
  • Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff to effectively support and problem-solve individual student needs.
  • Participate in all required Domain, Problem Solving, FIE, and annual review meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and Communication Disorders.
  • Valid license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education and Illinois Department of Professional Regulations endorsed as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Graduate degree in communication disorders or speech pathology from an accredited University or College program.
