About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Cardiology Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our nurses' skills and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care for patients with various cardiovascular disorders, including dysrhythmias, atherosclerotic disease, and surgical interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize patient safety and quality of life.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiac nursing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Graduate degree from an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program (BSN preferred).
  • A current license as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
  • BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
  • Acute care, Medical-Surgical, and Cardiology experience (preferably with ACLS certification).
