Job Description

The Support Operations Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Day-to-Day Office Operations: Coordinating schedules, handling communications, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors, members, and vendors.
  • Serving as Office Receptionist: Greeting customers in person and answering phone calls professionally.
  • Performing General Office Tasks: Filing, event support, handling mailings, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assisting the Sales Team: Taking boat inventory photos, creating walk-through videos, and listing new/used boats for sale on our online platform.
  • Managing Contact Management Systems: Updating Constant Contact and Salesforce databases to ensure accurate records.
  • Ensuring Brand Consistency: Maintaining brochures, business cards, and boat flyers to promote our brand effectively.
  • Supporting Marketing Events: Assisting the Director of Marketing with planning and organizing events as needed.
  • Monitoring Social Media Accounts: Creating and posting engaging content to promote brand awareness and highlight sales offers.
  • Providing Administrative Support: Processing customer payments accurately, updating SOP binders, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Organizational Abilities: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing tasks and prioritizing deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in social media management and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Notary Public Credentials: Willingness to obtain Notary Public credentials, if not already certified.
