About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Inpatient Nurse to join our dynamic and specialized unit dedicated to providing high-quality care to children. As a compassionate care specialist, you will work closely with our board-certified pediatric hospitalists and child life specialist to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments, explaining treatment plans and procedures to patients and their families, and advocating for their best interests.


Responsibilities
  • Provide family-centered care to pediatric patients admitted to our hospital
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine medical needs and monitor progress
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with pediatric hospitalists and child life specialists
  • Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients and their families
  • Maintain hospital and unit-specific competencies
  • Advocate for the needs and best interests of pediatric patients

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification required within 6 months of hire

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications
