Behavioral Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide consultative, behavioral, and evaluative services for prevention and intervention purposes within an elementary school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct systematic behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and provide behavior-analytic interpretations of the results.
- Collaborate and consult with other professionals to develop behavior plans, curriculum modifications, accommodations, and social skills programs.
- Develop, review, and edit IEP goals tailored to behavior needs.
- Train, model, and coach school staff on the implementation of skill acquisition, behavior change procedures, and protocols.
- Assist teachers and staff with data collection, providing support and guidance.
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights for improving behavior strategies and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification.
- Experience conducting FBAs and developing behavior plans.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with teachers, staff, and other providers.
- Ability to provide staff training and support for behavior strategies.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting is preferred.
