Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Anderson Dahlen. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for planning and performing a wide range of welding, layout, cutting, brazing, and soldering operations on various parts, components, and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selects and uses the appropriate welding processes, including gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), plasma cutting, and oxyacetylene cutting.
  • Works from drawings, sketches, welding symbols, specifications, and instructions to plan work in proper operational sequence and determine methods and techniques to be applied.
  • Interprets blueprints and sketches to identify job requirements and ensure that work is performed accurately.
  • Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Collaborates with other teams to ensure timely and efficient production efforts.
Requirements:
  • Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead, and/or All Positions.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, measuring instruments, and operation of welding equipment, including machine settings for various welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
