Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team at Houston Community College. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
  • Operate office equipment and software, including PeopleSoft, Oracle, Word, and Excel.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two years of secretarial experience, with three years preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
