We are seeking passionate and welcoming hosts to join our team at the Forest Acres location in Columbia, SC.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for guests, warmly greeting and welcoming them to the establishment.
  • Manage the guest reservation system, including taking reservations and handling cancellations or modifications with professionalism.
  • Maintain a well-organized waiting list during peak periods, ensuring efficient seating and minimizing wait times for our guests.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor, creating a warm and inviting ambiance for guests to enjoy.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a host or in customer service is highly valued but not mandatory. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Be willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to the team's needs.
  • Show the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously with poise and composure.
  • Demonstrate a team player mentality, willing to assist other team members when needed, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Be able to stand for extended periods, showcasing physical stamina and resilience.
  • Display reliability and punctuality, coupled with a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.
