Logistics Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour based on experience in Columbia, SC area.
At Jim Hudson Automotive Group, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for our dealerships. Responsibilities
- Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts, and vendors in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinates with parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, and other team members to ensure seamless delivery and pickup processes.
- Keeps accurate records of daily deliveries and pick-ups, requesting recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the truck, performing routine maintenance tasks such as filling up gas, checking oil levels, and ensuring required inspections are completed.
- Assists the service department as needed with tasks related to managing drop-offs and pickups of customers' vehicles.
- Helps with stocking and posting orders upon arrival to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, as well as write simple correspondence.
- The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- A valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
