Job Summary:

Daniel Defense is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer 3 to join our team. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes that meet our high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design manufacturing processes for our production facility
  • Analyze assembly, fabrication, and machining processes to optimize efficiency
  • Determine the necessary parts, equipment, tools, and processes to achieve manufacturing goals
  • Conduct time and cost analysis of processes
  • Research, design, develop, test, and improve manufacturing processes
  • Apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials
  • Conduct audits of assembly and machining processes and/or work instructions
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods and establishing standards
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4-7 years of prior manufacturing experience in a metal working environment
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
  • Experience with GD&T, Solidworks, CNC Programming, Mastercam, or similar software
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and put in extra effort and hours as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
