At Creative Works, we are seeking a highly motivated and caring Support Coordinator to join our team in Auburn. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Job SummaryAs a Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our program participants. Your primary responsibility will be to implement specific procedures and programs, report pertinent information to your supervisor, and assist with tasks to support department operations.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to be patient, empathetic, and able to remain flexible and adapt to changing circumstances.
About the Role- Provides Quality Care: Assist participants with daily activities, such as grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and range of motion.
- Assists with Domestic Duties: Help participants with grocery shopping, meal planning, cooking, cleaning, and general upkeep.
- Maintains Comfort and Dignity: Ensure participants' comfort, privacy, and dignity are maintained at all times.
You will also be responsible for transporting participants to appointments, errands, and community outings, using your personal vehicle. A valid U.S. Driver's License and satisfactory driving record are required.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
- Experience Supporting People with Disabilities: Preferred.
- Trainings: Must have or be willing to obtain DSP, CPR/FA, CRMA, Welle, QBISP trainings within the Agency's specified timeline.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language is essential.
