Role Overview
Madison-Kipp Corporation, a leader in high-pressure die casting and precision machining, seeks a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Richmond, Indiana facility.
About the Role
This is a key position within our manufacturing team, responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and ensuring the efficient running of production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead skilled tradespeople, facilities maintenance, and machine maintenance crews
- Select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, and discipline employees
- Communicate job expectations, monitor, and appraise job contributions
- Recommend compensation actions and adhere to policies and procedures
- Provide training opportunities to further employees' knowledge
- Coordinate procurement of maintenance materials, capital equipment, and services
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in maintenance or management field preferred
- Five to seven years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including two years of management experience
- Experience in automotive or automotive supplier manufacturing strongly preferred
Benefits: $62,000 - $75,000 per year, competitive salary and benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, 401k plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, paid personal time, and paid parental leave. Heavy manufacturing environment, with potential hazards controlled through engineering and administrative controls. Regularly required to stand, stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders, lift up to 50 pounds, and walk throughout all manufacturing facilities.
