Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff on our da Vinci Surgical System. Your expertise will help us to continuously improve our training programs and support our customers in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for surgical teams at designated training centers and remote centers
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including user manuals, instructional guides, and online resources
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of training programs
  • Provide subject matter expertise on da Vinci System technology and applications to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in minimally invasive surgery and adapt training programs accordingly
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Health Sciences, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Communications, or Education
  • Proven experience in training and education, preferably in a medical device or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, with occasional support of the da Vinci System in a hospital operating room
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Experience with medical-device training and education
  • Professional certification in training and education, such as CPT or CTE
