Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Delivery Driver to join our team at Sherwin-Williams Company. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $17.00/hr.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Key responsibilities include ensuring deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. The individual must also adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules while maintaining a safe driving record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading customer orders properly on the truck
  • Ensuring appropriate forms are completed
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintaining the store vehicle and alerting the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Hold a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed medical examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment
  • Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience working as a delivery driver
  • At least one year of work experience using material handling equipment
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience.
