Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Support Professional to join our team at Delta-T Group Inc.

About the Role:

  • Provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families, healthcare professionals, and other service providers.
  • Instruct, assist, and participate in household tasks, including cleaning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Prepare food according to individualized menus and dietary requirements.
  • Assist in developing daily living skills by identifying and meeting social, environmental, and healthcare needs.
  • Transport clients and provide mobility training to enable them to attend appointments and engage in community activities.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and program meetings as instructed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills for client note-taking.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
