Material Handler

Job Summary

The Material Handler plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Molding production floor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering packing supplies from the Warehouse to the production floor and transporting molded skids to the Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stack, wrap, and deliver completed molded skids, adhering to packing specifications.
• Tightly wrap skids to secure boxes in place.
• Create Pallet IDs for all products produced.
• Perform MP transaction scanning for Molding and IML production.
• Deliver wrapped skids to the Warehouse using an electrical pallet jack.
• Assist in transporting products for Quality Control to and from the Warehouse.
• Maintain records of pallet IDs created during MP transactions for tracking purposes.
• Replenish packing supplies at scheduled machines, following IPS guidelines and signing off on line clearance sheets.
• Remove broken or damaged skids to the Warehouse.
• Replenish tape machines when empty.
• Keep records of corrugates, liner bags, and U boards brought to the production floor for traceability.
• Conduct Line Clearance during product changes.
• Collect purge and drool, as well as scrap bags from the production floor, and dispose of them in blue bins as needed.
• Clear scrap products from machine areas and dispose of them in scrap bins as needed.
• Recharge the battery of the electric pallet jack when low.
• Perform daily checks on the pallet jack and maintain records, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience handling electric pallet jacks would be beneficial.
• Certification in operating a walkie pallet jack is mandatory.
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential.
• The ability to lift over 20 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods is necessary.

Salary Estimate:
Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience.
