Clinical Counselor Opportunity

Are you passionate about working with children and promoting positive mental health? Do you have experience in a clinical setting and a desire to work outdoors?

We are seeking a Clinical Counselor to join our team at the Old Colony YMCA. As a Clinical Counselor, you will work with our campers to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to campers
Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each camper
Collaborate with the Camp Director and Clinician to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Provide training and guidance to front-line counselors on behavior management and trauma-informed care
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of camper progress and concerns

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Massachusetts professional clinical license or license eligible
Minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk populations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
