Lead Educator

The Floating Substitute Teacher at Crescent City Schools inspires students and staff by embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission and values of the school. This role requires maintaining a rigorous academic culture in the absence of a teacher, as well as a positive classroom culture across the school. The Floating Substitute Teacher will model the use of behavior incentive and discipline systems in the absence of a staff member and provide classroom culture support on an as-needed basis. Additionally, this role may involve taking on other tasks as needed.

This is an in-person role that requires regular attendance and the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
