Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to contribute to the financial management of The Interior Edge. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Your role will involve bookkeeping, financial reporting, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
  • Develop and analyze financial reporting for business operations and budgets.
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage company cash flow.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support audits and assist in the preparation of documentation.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist in payroll processing and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
