Job Overview:

The Well Preschool is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team. This full-time position offers the ideal candidate a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

About the Role:

We are searching for a dedicated professional who can maintain a positive and developmentally appropriate educational environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director, co-teachers, and parents to ensure children participate in activities that promote enrichment, movement, emotional well-being, and intellectual growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in opening classrooms as children arrive for the day
  • Greet families during drop-off times
  • Cover administrative tasks for teachers as needed
  • Support teachers with daily classroom duties
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of children

Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registry of Wisconsin certificate or ability to become a lead teacher certified (we provide all necessary materials)
  • 15 hours of training in infant and toddler care for teachers assigned with this age group (completed within 6 months of assuming the position)

Desirable Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience working in the childcare field
  • CPR/First Aid Training, SBS Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect Training
