We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the healthcare needs of our community.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Perform various lab procedures as necessary, ensuring accuracy and precision in accordance with competency guidelines.
- Assist with patient flow through the clinic, maintaining a seamless and efficient experience.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and support provider-related communication with patients.
- Accurately document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
- Clean equipment according to policy, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Order stock supplies from the supply department, ensuring timely delivery and effective inventory management.
- Maintain sterile technique and utilize universal protocols to prevent infection and promote a safe environment.
- Complete routine clerical duties, including locating patient charts, filing, and completing forms.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
