**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in cloud and data solutions to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Global Management Systems (GMS) Team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing software solutions that support the transformation of DISA's operational mission through innovation.

The successful candidate will have experience with distributed version control systems, software development lifecycle automation, and working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, and SQL. Additionally, they will possess strong communication skills, enabling proactive collaboration with virtual teams and adapting to fast-paced Agile development environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing software solutions for multiple GMS Innovations portfolio projects using Python, JavaScript, Java, and SQL.
  • Creating Kibana visualizations and dashboards, leveraging machine learning capabilities and React.
  • Developing Kafka system integrations between Elasticsearch/Logstash and other systems.
  • Implementing AI/ML Pilot solutions and Predictive Analytics solutions.
  • Deploying, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining updates/upgrades of Kafka and Elastic clusters and environments.
  • Developing automated tests using Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, Junit, and/or other applicable tools.
  • Developing automated CI/CD build/deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket.

To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a relevant technical discipline, 4+ years of related experience, and an active interim Secret DoD Security clearance or higher. You should also be able to obtain Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 14 days of start date.

**Key Skills and Qualifications:*

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
  • Experience with distributed version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle automation, including deployment to production environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $81,250 - $146,875 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
