We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Kennel Assistant to join our team at Well Pets Veterinary Clinic and After Hours Urgent Care.

The Kennel Assistant provides daily care, feeding, and exercise of boarding and hospitalized animals. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of animal behavior, and the ability to work independently.

• Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise of boarding and hospitalized animals
• Monitor animal health and report any abnormalities to veterinarians and technicians
• Interact with clients in person and by phone to provide information and answer questions
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment
• Assist with cleaning and disinfecting of kennel areas
• Perform other duties as assigned by veterinarians and technicians

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of animal behavior and health
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
