Job Summary
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing effective interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet patients' unique needs
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote understanding and cooperation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire
- Ability to obtain and maintain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 60 days of hire
