About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Physician-Medicine-Hematology/Oncology to join our team at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Job Description

As a Physician-Medicine-Hematology/Oncology, you will provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice or for a specified patient population. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing and managing direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Prescribing pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Referring patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • Training and supervising medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures, as appropriate.
  • Managing the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function, as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Hematology/Oncology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
