About the Role
Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a RN HCA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care in line with the department's standards and the relevant state's specialty. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take action in the event of an unintended response.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or active compact state licensure required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
